The faculty of care work has most pattern families selected (six families, coupled with two aesthetic focus in the faculty of stewarding work) because shifts in this dimension - altered **relations of aesthetic production** \- are perhaps is most pivotal.

# Why not wild commons? Given the crisis of life on the planet, why is [210 Wild commons](https://foprop.org/doc/210-wild-commons-xxx-q0jh4uvzBi) in the Faculty of [Subsistence work](https://foprop.org/doc/2-subsistence-work-fABTjPlali)\- and the ‘aesthetic’ reorientations of Extinction Rebellion activism, for example, or Fridays for Future, or Ecodhamma - not highlighted as part of the initial tactical focus?
Well, basically, this is too hard - too big - for me to frame in an ‘economic’ way (far too much science and spirituality is on the loose here). And also, plenty of folks are at work here so, maybe, presumptions and actions in this field are moving, under a whole swathe of motivations, delusionary and otherwise - albeit, nowhere near fast enough to hold back profound disruption and loss?
Anyway, tactically, we’re choosing to highlight some deeply related families of pattern that underpin or resonate powerfully with these overt formations of climate activism and frames of (absurdly underdeveloped) eco-economic transformation.
